Entering into our relationship, I was oblivious to the love you had prepared in advance to give me. Nonetheless, your living Word became life and because you first loved me, I will declare to all the world of my love for you. What can I say Lord? How can the words of a fallible mortal express how deep your love goes? (for your wife) I will do my best to put these words on paper.
Last night as I was communing with My Father God, He gave me a revelation that was beyond anything I had ever received before. He told me that the key is LOVE. Love seems like such a simple word, but with God, it’s way more. He started to bring back the stories of Jesus, and how He healed the sick, cleansed the leper, raised the dead, and much more. Every single thing that Jesus did came from God's power, and that power is love.
At this very moment, I can honestly say I am aware of how much God loves me. All my life God has spoken to me, but because I did not have His spirit in me, I could not understand what He was saying. The beautiful thing though is because of His grace; He never stopped speaking to me.
What is unconditional love? Well, we can start by defining what "condition" means. It is a requirement, term, or requisite. Conditions are rules or requirements that must be followed or fulfilled to receive what we want. We can, therefore, define "unconditional" as something that holds no rules, terms or requisites. Unconditional love is limitless. The one who loves unconditionally loves no matter what.
Once upon a time, I wanted love through a man. I have always thought that love through a man is what it was all about: merely companionship with the opposite sex. I figured he would be in love with me, and I would love him back. That would be how our "unconditional love" would work.
